A Tale of 2 Gym Owners

Can you see yourself in either of these scenarios?

1) Some gym and studio owners choose to go it alone.

They consume as much information as possible. They listen to podcasts while training, and double speed business audiobooks while commuting. They try out the strategies they learn as best they can. Sometimes they kinda work. Sometimes they don’t.

These gym owners are happy to be a small business owner.

They’re proud of being the captain of their ship.

And yet…

They’re not really seeing the traction they’d hoped for.

They’re not seeing the numbers going up.

They’re stuck in a “one-in, one-out” situation with members.

Their revenues keep floating around the same amount, give or take a few grand.

This means they keep putting off making that badly needed hire.

Which means they keep working punishing hours. They’re up early, and working late, long after everyone else is asleep. And they’re doing all this just to stand still.

And the stress and long hours are starting to have a real cost at home. Particularly when the lack of business results are creating financial strain.

2) Some gym and studio owners choose to get help.

These gym owners choose speed.

They get outside eyes on their business. They get a customized game plan. They build systems in the best order for the biggest results. They have peace of mind. And if they don’t get the results they planned for? They get expert trouble-shooting.

It’s not all roses.

But in general,

These owners are happy more days than not.

They feel energized walking through their gym at prime time. They see a ton of clients moving with good technique and training with appropriate effort. Their clients flash big smiles after hard sets. Their staff is attentive and positive.

These owners have a team they love spending time with. A team who often thanks them for their job.

These gym owners have bank accounts with numbers going up and to the right. Their life includes sensible creature comforts and indulgences. They have a home they’re proud of, in a neighborhood they want to live in. And a car they love driving.

They also have time: for their most pressing gym tasks AND a life outside the gym. They have a calendar without too much on it. They have plans with family and friends, including an upcoming once-in-a-lifetime trip they’re very much looking forward to.

Most of all, day after day…

They feel momentum.

Now you get to decide.

Which owner do you want to be?
