Best Books for Gym Owners

A practical reading list for gym owners who want principles they can actually use

Books are overrated and underrated.

They’re overrated because the world is full of well-read business owners who can’t put the pieces together.

And books alone rarely give you tactics that make sense for your context.

And great advice in the wrong context leads to bad results.

On the other hand…

Books are underrated.

My reading pace has slowed down in the last few years. Partly because of a small human who lives in my home.

But in spite of the comment above,

I attribute any success I’ve had to voracious reading.

(I won’t even tell you the number, as it sounds like an obnoxious flex. But it’s a lot.)

While you won’t find many books that speak to the specific needs of the typical gym owner,

You can learn important principles and foundations for general business success.

To stay nothing of being a student of psychology, philosophy, and the human condition writ large.

Anyhoo,

If you’re looking to fill up your book queue,

Here’s my list of must-read books for gym owners, conveniently broken down by topic.
