I’m your host, Michael Keeler. [00:00:15] Join me and the business unicorns team each week for [00:00:18] actionable advice, expert insights, and the [00:00:21] inside scoop on what it really takes to level up your gym.[00:00:24]

Get ready to unlock your potential and become a [00:00:27] real unicorn in the fitness industry.[00:00:30] [00:00:33]

Yeah. [00:00:36] Hello, fitness business nerds. [00:00:39] What’s up? Welcome to another episode of the Business Free Accordance [00:00:42] podcast. I’m back with one of my favorites on the podcast. [00:00:45] As always, it’s Coach Wendy Sharansky. Welcome back, Wendy. [00:00:48] Hello. Thanks for having me again. Oh my gosh, I know what [00:00:51] this is. Probably the third or fourth time on the podcast.

Four. [00:00:54] Wow. At this point, I just, I love that we have more people from the team [00:00:57] on more regularly. It’s such a treat because we don’t get to see each [00:01:00] other that often and have conversations like this almost [00:01:03] never. Yeah. So it’s such a treat for me to have you back on. [00:01:06] For people who are maybe just getting to know you for the first time, Wendy, just wanna [00:01:09] share a little bit about who are you, where are you, what’s your business?

A [00:01:12] little about Wendy. Sure. I own Vero Strength and Conditioning [00:01:15] in Vero Beach, Florida Client avatars. On the older [00:01:18] side, we’ve, this is a community with a lot of second homes [00:01:21] and retirees. We’ve been getting people stronger [00:01:24] since 2009, so we’re approaching our 17th year. [00:01:27] Wow. And I started BFU, [00:01:30] I believe it was 2020 as a client, and [00:01:33] now I’m part of the coaching staff.

I love it. I love it. And you’ve [00:01:36] been coaching with us for almost, has it been a year yet? Yeah, it’s been over a [00:01:39] year. Wow. Over a year, already a year. June. [00:01:42] Damn. That’s amazing. And you also run your gym with your [00:01:45] spouse? Yes, I do. With Rob. Who? You have [00:01:48] Rob on the podcast. At some point he’s gonna come join us.

Yeah, if you wanna talk [00:01:51] programming, he won’t shut up. [00:01:54] There’s one topic. Rob’s gonna come talk. It’s [00:01:57] programming. That’s amazing. Actually, on today’s [00:02:00] episode, what we wanna talk about is actually talk about you. We are actually here to [00:02:03] talk about Wendy and Wendy’s journey, and we thought this would be [00:02:06] useful to all of you dear listeners, because Wendy was in [00:02:09] Unicorn society.

She left for a little while, came [00:02:12] back. Obviously it’s been more engaged than ever ’cause she’s back now and working [00:02:15] with us as a coach. And we wanted to just talk a little bit about [00:02:18] all of you and your relationship with coaching. [00:02:21] And using Wendy as like our kind of a case study here about what [00:02:24] worked for her, what didn’t work for her, how she’s, how she, [00:02:27] how she stays engaged and motivated as both now a coach [00:02:30] and also a client in Unicorn society.

Just because we [00:02:33] know that we talked a million times on this podcast about the importance of [00:02:36] having someone outside your gym as an advisor. And [00:02:39] coach and mentor and consultant. And so we wanna make sure that you [00:02:42] all are listening through that lens of how can you apply lessons [00:02:45] from Wendy’s story to your own lives.

So let’s just maybe [00:02:48] start back in the beginning, Wendy, how did you first find about Find us [00:02:51] from Unicorn Society? It was during COVID. You [00:02:54] were on a panel with a whole bunch of business coaches and you [00:02:57] had a rainbow glitter background and I’m like, I need to go home. [00:03:00] That sounds like me. Yeah. I looked up the company [00:03:03] and then we had a call and it was a perfect fit.

That’s [00:03:06] amazing. That’s, I remember we did so many of those weird panels and things during [00:03:09] COVID. Yeah. Just anytime anyone was like, do you want to get on Zoom? I was like, [00:03:12] yes. Just get me in front of people because we’re just all [00:03:15] stuck inside. That’s amazing. So when you first [00:03:18] met with us, what was, what made it a perfect fit?

Do you remember? [00:03:21] I liked that it wasn’t just, all right, give me your [00:03:24] money and you’re in. It’s there. There is a process to see if it’s [00:03:27] a good fit, but I liked the fact that it [00:03:30] wasn’t this one size fits all program. There’s [00:03:33] playbooks and there’s information and there’s best practices. However, [00:03:36] every gym is a little bit different.

You treated everyone like an individual. [00:03:39] Yeah. I’m so glad you noticed that up front. It’s one of, [00:03:42] always been one of our values, certainly for me personally, just kinda as a [00:03:45] coach, right? You know, this is now a coach who worked with me. Part of [00:03:48] our approach to coaching is that we meet each [00:03:51] person where they’re at, just like we do for our clients in our gym.[00:03:54]

And no two binge gym businesses are gonna be [00:03:57] the same, even two franchises, right? They’re gonna be a little [00:04:00] different. And I think that’s, it’s not a, it’s not a bug. It’s a feature [00:04:03] of the way we do things. So I’m glad that resonated with you because that means a lot of, [00:04:06] definitely. And I always remind people when, in their graduation calls.

Yeah. [00:04:09] About that. Yeah. Good. That’s amazing. [00:04:12] Alright, so maybe let’s just jump forward in time. Little, so you joined the group for a [00:04:15] little while, you decided to leave. Do you remember why you decided to leave? [00:04:18] Yeah. I got a ton of work done. Mm-hmm. I used the playbooks. I, [00:04:21] when I came on board, I didn’t have [00:04:24] systems.

It was all in my head. Mm. And so [00:04:27] I, I pretty much, I, we grew, I felt like I [00:04:30] could just kinda. Just say [00:04:33] Anora and handle it on my own and 100%. [00:04:36] Yeah. And I did to a point, I actually, we had our [00:04:39] first year that was down. It wasn’t significant, but I remember our [00:04:42] exit interview, I remember, and I don’t have many like this, [00:04:45] ’cause many of them, I am trying to convince them to stay because I think [00:04:48] they genuinely would benefit from staying.

But I remember on our exit interview [00:04:51] I was like, oh, she doesn’t fucking need us. [00:04:54] She doesn’t have the systems under control. She, I remember. When you [00:04:57] first were working with this, you made a ton of SOPs and [00:05:00] processes. You were delegating a ton of stuff off your plate and [00:05:03] you had a really great rhythm going at your gym.

Mm-hmm. So [00:05:06] I remember during our exit interview, it was one of those rare times where I was like, oh yeah, she probably should go. [00:05:09] Yeah. She really doesn’t need us for anything right now that, to [00:05:12] change it, we all have seasons of of our business. And that was a [00:05:15] season when you felt like all the ducks were in row.

Mm-hmm. And you really didn’t need any [00:05:18] external eyeballs or helper assistance. And that made a ton [00:05:21] of sense. Right. And then at some point something changed [00:05:24] and you decided to come back and not just come back. As a [00:05:27] client, but we also convinced you to become a coach. Yeah. And so [00:05:30] just walk me through that decision making process.

[00:05:33] Yeah. I think when we parted ways, I also did [00:05:36] launch an e-commerce business. Yeah, that’s right. At the same [00:05:39] time. So I think that took up so much of my time and I [00:05:42] ended up walking away after four and a half years and learning a lot. But [00:05:45] I think the gym is just on autopilot. And I [00:05:48] needed to be around people that inspired me or had [00:05:51] different ideas or kept me accountable.

Like I said, it just ran [00:05:54] and it was fine, and people are happy and clients are [00:05:57] happy and leads were still coming in, but nothing [00:06:00] earth shattering was going on. I think people [00:06:03] don’t realize that very often. A lot of people who choose to join [00:06:06] Unicorn Society or choose to look for a coach or a mentor [00:06:09] or not, people whose businesses are failing.

There are people [00:06:12] whose business are doing really well and they might just be at a [00:06:15] plateau where like growth is stagnant or they might be at like at [00:06:18] a motivational plateau, right? Where’re just like [00:06:21] everything was on autopilot, including my own motivation and [00:06:24] inspiration. Or they might be looking for new ideas to grow [00:06:27] and might wanna surround themselves with other people who ha, who understand what their [00:06:30] life is like as an entrepreneur and small business owner.

So there’s [00:06:33] people who join for a lot of reasons and almost none of the [00:06:36] reasons are my business is about to close. In fact. We don’t let [00:06:39] people in the group who are in that kind of dire situation [00:06:42] ’cause that’s not what we do best. Mm-hmm. I think there are probably [00:06:45] other groups and coaches out there that are probably really great kind of [00:06:48] ambulance for business.

Right. Like triage units. [00:06:51] Yeah. For businesses. And I’d say once in a while maybe we get someone [00:06:54] who has some real troubles when they first join, but for the most [00:06:57] part, most of the people who join are like you, whose business is [00:07:00] going great. It was profitable. We’ve got great [00:07:03] systems, great team. And what you were looking for was more [00:07:06] accountability and more kind of vision for what to do [00:07:09] next.

Yeah, yeah. Yeah. So say more about, so have [00:07:12] you gotten that since you’ve been in the group? Yeah, absolutely. All of [00:07:15] us coaches actually have, we get the accountability [00:07:18] texts too, and I get every Monday Ben reaches out [00:07:21] and it forces me to not only look at [00:07:24] my quarterly projects and keep those on track, but say, all right, [00:07:27] I obviously, there’s a lot of things we do all week that are just.[00:07:30]

You have to do it to keep the business running. Yeah. But what is [00:07:33] something that’s gonna help us get that much [00:07:36] better or whatever. Mm-hmm. It forces me to think [00:07:39] outside just the day to day and what am I gonna do that’s [00:07:42] gonna make a difference. This week. So that’s been [00:07:45] great. Really. Can I just pause for a second?

Yeah. I don’t wanna, sorry to interrupt. I just [00:07:48] wanna say a lot of people just don’t even realize that, that you and the rest of the [00:07:51] business unicorns team who are coaches you, we also [00:07:54] request that you all stay members as well. That you also have [00:07:57] a coach in this group. I think most of You’re with Ben. Yeah.

Yeah. [00:08:00] And, and you yourself are doing all the things we’re teaching people to do. [00:08:03] You have weekly mission control meetings, you have quarterly planning. [00:08:06] You have a weekly Mina that you’re texting with Ben. And the [00:08:09] most important next action you’re taking every single week. So you [00:08:12] are doing the things. That you are helping your clients do, [00:08:15] and I don’t think that’s the, the case in every kind of coaching group I’ve been [00:08:18] part of or worked with.

Right. Usually it’s often the coaches are people who [00:08:21] are, are not necessarily doing all the things the clients are doing, but I [00:08:24] think it’s a real benefit for you all. Yeah. Because you are doing the [00:08:27] things Yeah. You’re helping people do Sorry, I cut you off. I just [00:08:30] wanted to No, that’s highlight. Yeah. And I was, I also [00:08:33] booked time with the other coaches.

We launched Sports Performance [00:08:36] recently. A small group. Training model and I [00:08:39] talked to Pete and Mickey before then. I’ve talked to Mike [00:08:42] about his leads events and Brittany, I have a call with her [00:08:45] I think on Thursday about how she [00:08:48] blends or how not blends, but manages doing [00:08:51] large group as well as small group under the same roof.

’cause we’re [00:08:54] dipping our toe in that. So yeah, it’s been [00:08:57] awesome just to talk to all of them. [00:09:00] That’s amazing. Yeah, it’s such a great example of like [00:09:03] how to use a group like this. When people join a group like this, [00:09:06] they think that they’re just gonna be learning from me and Mark. But the [00:09:09] reality is that I think most of the learning happens within the community [00:09:12] is from each other.

And yes, me and Mark and the rest of the coaches are gonna [00:09:15] put out content and give you access to great courses and materials and [00:09:18] playbooks. But so much of the learning happens in the [00:09:21] exchange between our members, people hopping in office [00:09:24] hours and learning from the coach, but also from other people who are there [00:09:27] in the office hours.

Oh, I learned from every one of the [00:09:30] people that booked time with me or to hop in office hours. Yeah. [00:09:33] Yeah. I’ve been saying the same thing for years, and I think people don’t often believe [00:09:36] me that when I hold my office hours, people come to ask me questions. [00:09:39] I feel like I take away as much from that hour as hopefully they.

Taken away [00:09:42] from me because people in groups like this have so much [00:09:45] experience and so many, and having all those brains is always better than [00:09:48] one. So yeah. Say me a little. So tell me a little bit more. So now that you’ve [00:09:51] been back, and obviously you’ve had the experience of coach as [00:09:54] well, what have you been working on in your business at this point?

Okay. [00:09:57] Yeah, so Summer gets really slow around here. Like I mentioned, we have a lot of [00:10:00] snowbirds that have second homes, and in the past we’ve just said, all right [00:10:03] guys, take your vacations. Let’s hunker down. Let’s not spend too much money. [00:10:06] But this year I really worked on [00:10:09] doing. Like an LBO program and some [00:10:12] other things to get new eyeballs in the gym or to allow our.[00:10:15]

Our current members that are here in the summer [00:10:18] to spend more money or taking care of the ones that are away. [00:10:21] So June, we were up 22% in June. Wow. And [00:10:24] we’ve had probably our best summer ever, just [00:10:27] because I’ve been working on that. Yeah. That’s so huge. [00:10:30] Congratulations. First of all, that’s amazing. And it just goes to show [00:10:33] what you can do when you are.

When you are [00:10:36] actively trying to push yourself outside of your own status [00:10:39] quo, like you’ve been actively saying, Nope, I’m gonna try something new. I’m gonna try [00:10:42] something new. I’m gonna talk to other people, see what they’re doing. Yeah. And [00:10:45] try things. Not, it’s not all gonna work, but I think that’s when you’re [00:10:48] surrounded by people who are all pushing and rowing their [00:10:51] boats in the same direction, you, you get some of that momentum [00:10:54] and it helps you try new shit and then boom, you’re up [00:10:57] 22%.

That’s amazing. Yeah. Yeah. No, this is, we’re POIs to have our best. [00:11:00] Year ever. We’re up about 15% year over year [00:11:03] and for being in an established business for almost 17 years. [00:11:06] Yeah, I’m super excited about that. And we’re to the point [00:11:09] where it’s like, all right, we’re serving as many people as we can in these [00:11:12] large groups, and we’re also doing personals, but how can we [00:11:15] maybe.

Do small group instead of just [00:11:18] personals. And so the whole structure of our company is [00:11:21] being tested and possibly changed. [00:11:24] And even I think Mike Boian has kind of [00:11:27] inspired me a little bit with his last project, last quarter [00:11:30] that I’m restructuring our company in a way so [00:11:33] that Chris Travis, he is. Key at this.

You have different [00:11:36] departments like facility and marketing and Yeah. So [00:11:39] I’m not the only one that knows how to do some of these [00:11:42] things. I have a Google Drive, a folder in my Google Drive [00:11:45] that says when I die, but we all [00:11:48] know how to do, but I actually wanna join these people, everyone on it. Yep. [00:11:51] Number two, for everything that I do and it [00:11:54] all, it just feels really.

Uh, first of all, I wanna share, I worked for a [00:11:57] manager once who totally had hit by the hit by a bus [00:12:00] folder. Yeah. Which, because she always say when I get hit by a bus. [00:12:03] Yeah. That’s amazing. And so morbid, but helpful in some way. Right. But what I [00:12:06] love so much about the this, Wendy, is that you’re such, if people take [00:12:09] anything away from your story today as an example, [00:12:12] it’s this, which I find so inspiring that you’ve been in this for [00:12:15] 17 years.

17 years, [00:12:18] and you are now, at this moment, 17 years in [00:12:21] challenging yourself to think differently about your own [00:12:24] business. I don’t see that very often. With all due respect to all y’all [00:12:27] out there, myself included. It’s a really hard [00:12:30] thing to do when you’re in it for that long. With [00:12:33] success. It’s not, you’ve been struggling, you’ve been successful.

Paying your bills has been your [00:12:36] full-time gig for with you and your husband for years. There’s [00:12:39] not a lot of motivation to, to really think differently about your [00:12:42] business. And you said, we haven’t had enough success. There’s more we [00:12:45] can do, right? There’s more we can do for our clients. There’s more we can do for our [00:12:48] team.

This maybe can feel easier over time. [00:12:51] There’s other people we can serve in our community. Maybe sports performance that [00:12:54] you have really used Unicorn [00:12:57] society, right? Used this group to really help you rethink and [00:13:00] reimagine what your business could be 17 years in. [00:13:03] That’s just worth, that’s just worth a plot.

I wish I had sound [00:13:06] effects on this podcast and we’re doing our, that’s huge. Our [00:13:09] biggest lead event ever. Next week we partnered [00:13:12] with some functional medicine doctors and we’re doing a. An event [00:13:15] called Redefining Aging. Mm. And I already have [00:13:18] 75 people confirmed RSVP’d. Wow. I think [00:13:21] there’s more, ’cause I keep getting emails in, these are for older people and [00:13:24] then they don’t actually confirm boomers.[00:13:27]

Digital RSVPing is tough for the over [00:13:30] 60 crowd. Yeah. We should have well over a hundred [00:13:33] people. And yeah, I don’t think I would’ve done that if I was just kinda like, all [00:13:36] right, let’s just. Keep plugging away doing the same thing we’re always doing. [00:13:39] Yeah. It’s so easy to get stuck, especially if things are working [00:13:42] right.

If you’re doing fine and paying your bills, it’s hard to build. Why [00:13:45] would I mess this up? Yeah. And then people get stuck in that, like [00:13:48] they, things get frozen in time. Mm-hmm. And they’re so [00:13:51] afraid to try anything new because. They now are paying their [00:13:54] bills and their lifestyle creep has crept up and their bills are [00:13:57] more than they Arabia were before.

Right? And so they’re afraid to rock [00:14:00] any boats. But you’re such a great example here of not [00:14:03] only did you rock the boat in terms of like roles and responsibilities [00:14:06] by rocking the boat in terms of how you generate leads, you’re rocking the boat [00:14:09] in so many different ways, trying new services you’ve never done [00:14:12] before and 17 years in.

I just think that’s so inspiring. [00:14:15] Can you maybe just say a little bit more about. You mentioned before, you don’t know that [00:14:18] you would’ve done this if it wasn’t for being in the group. Can you [00:14:21] say a little bit more about how does the group provide you with that kind of [00:14:24] motivation? I think, I mean we used to be on [00:14:27] Facebook, but now we have a around circle that platform and people are [00:14:30] so great about sharing.

Yeah. And a lot of times if [00:14:33] I don’t have an answer for someone that’s on the [00:14:36] call or I, they. Ideas. I say, go [00:14:39] do some crowdsourcing on circle or Facebook, [00:14:42] and I read all of those and it just, [00:14:45] it gives me new ideas. There’s no bad ideas. ’cause one thing will [00:14:48] spark something else in somebody and so on. So I think [00:14:51] that’s, that’s been huge because before.[00:14:54]

Especially if you’re someone that is the [00:14:57] only person that kind of does admin marketing and you do all that. You [00:15:00] feel like you’re just a, you are a department of one and it’s [00:15:03] hard to really be [00:15:06] innovative by yourself. Yeah, 100%. [00:15:09] That’s really well said, Wendy. I, I think and coming to a group [00:15:12] realize, oh, actually.

This group has 50 or 60 other [00:15:15] business owners, maybe even a hundred other business owners who [00:15:18] also are department of one doing marketing themselves. [00:15:21] And they’re brand new at it, like many of the others. And they all [00:15:24] have ideas, things they’ve tried, things that have worked, things they haven’t wor [00:15:27] that haven’t worked.

And so now you have this whole community of people [00:15:30] who are other departments of one, and now you’re this [00:15:33] department of. A hundred where you can, you can get other ideas [00:15:36] and inspiration and get your ideas checked, right? Yep. [00:15:39] Ask everyone to reality check your plans. That’s [00:15:42] amazing. That’s amazing. Lemme say this, for anyone [00:15:45] listening who has always thought about trying to join a [00:15:48] group like this but has hesitated saying, you know what?

My business is [00:15:51] really different, or I, I don’t know if I really spending money [00:15:54] on a group like this could make sense for me. What do you say to [00:15:57] folks who are hesitant about finding a group like Unicorn Society? [00:16:00] I guess you could. Bring it down to [00:16:03] maybe in terms that they understand in terms of fitness, that even [00:16:06] coaches need coaches.

So even if say you were gonna do a power lifting meet, but [00:16:09] you are a coach, you probably need a coach for that accountability leader. [00:16:12] That an I you’re promoting coaching [00:16:15] to the world. Why aren’t you taking advantage of that too? Yeah, [00:16:18] and we do the, we still do the love it or leave it. Yeah. But there’s, we [00:16:21] have lots of options, right?

You can totally test us out from time to [00:16:24] time. We sell some of our courses on our website at this point. So if you wanna [00:16:27] just see what some of our learning tools are, like you can go do [00:16:30] that. But I think that’s a really, that’s a really great way to think about it, which [00:16:33] is like even elite athletes, right?

Have coaches. You need [00:16:36] that outside eye to help. Guide you, hold you [00:16:39] accountable, help reality test your ideas. Yeah. And give [00:16:42] you some learning. And I think the thing that I’m most proud of when it [00:16:45] comes to Unicorn Society, which I said earlier, which is the idea [00:16:48] that is a community to learn from, and [00:16:51] everyone is so open with their ideas.

They’re so open [00:16:54] with sharing what’s working and not working for them, that [00:16:57] no matter what your business model is or what your culture [00:17:00] is, or what your market is, we have people in this [00:17:03] group that you can learn from. Yeah. And if it’s not just me and [00:17:06] Wendy and Mark and the rest of the coaches, there’s other people in this group that you [00:17:09] can learn from, and we do a lot to facilitate that [00:17:12] interaction.

Yeah. Yeah. And so I think no matter who you are, there’s something you can get [00:17:15] out of it. And as you pointed out, Wendy, you coming back to the group [00:17:18] gave you this inspiration to make all kinds of changes that’s put [00:17:21] more money in your pocket. So even if it’s about dollars and cents for [00:17:24] people, there’s very people who come into this group and don’t wind up making more [00:17:27] money.

Right. I’m not a huge fan of groups that do a lot of [00:17:30] promises, and we’ve played around with promises over the years of if you join this [00:17:33] group, you’ll get X number more dollars. I’m not the biggest [00:17:36] fan of that, just because we actually can’t control what people do or don’t [00:17:39] do. True. That’s like me saying, you’re gonna lose weight if you walk through [00:17:42] my gym door.

Exactly. It’s like, well, I can’t control about how much food you’re [00:17:45] putting in your mouth. Right. Exactly. How much sleep you’re getting, how much water you’re drinking. [00:17:48] And so the same thing is I don’t really love having to make promises and we’ve played [00:17:51] around with. Some over the years that I stand behind.

But, [00:17:54] but I say all of that to say that nothing’s guaranteed. And I think [00:17:57] Unicorn society is a lot like college. So say you’re gonna get out of it what you [00:18:00] put in, right? So if you come with a real open mind, [00:18:03] you come hungry and you show up to class and you get, you do your [00:18:06] one-on-one coaching, you come to office hours.

If you do all of [00:18:09] that, I can personally guarantee you will get some results. You [00:18:12] will put more money in your pocket, you might have more free time. Mm-hmm. You might make [00:18:15] a bigger impact on your team and your clients. And those are the things we’re always [00:18:18] talking about. Income, impact, freedom. And I know that we’re good [00:18:21] at getting people those things if they come in hungry.

For sure. [00:18:24] Hungry for it. And you’ve been such a good example of that. You, you came [00:18:27] back hungry and it’s made a real difference. Yeah, definitely. [00:18:30] And what’s next for you? When you think about continuing to use [00:18:33] this group to inspire change in your business? [00:18:36] What do you plan? What’s coming down the pike for you?

I [00:18:39] think just really making sure this, the [00:18:42] gym runs like a well-oiled machine. Mm-hmm. And it doesn’t [00:18:45] necessarily need me physically here. My husband and I [00:18:48] would like to take a month out and go to the mountains next. Mm-hmm. [00:18:51] In a summer in the next couple years. [00:18:54] And we’re thinking about our legacy. We’re not gonna have this [00:18:57] forever.

So it just needs to be a very attractive business. Gyms are hard to [00:19:00] sell, but. You soldiers, so there’s, it’s [00:19:03] possible. So yeah, now that I’ve gotten older and have been doing it [00:19:06] so longer, I am thinking about that I am su [00:19:09] still happy with the business. I don’t feel burnt out if I wanna throw in the [00:19:12] towel, but I don’t wanna work forever either.

[00:19:15] Yeah, it’s great to have some sort of off ramp. Some sort of [00:19:18] exit plan. Yep. Even if it’s just a slow down plan. Yeah. It’s [00:19:21] great to have that. And then again, because the group has such a [00:19:24] diversity of people, there are people in the group right now actively working [00:19:27] on the same thing at the same place where they want a little more freedom.

[00:19:30] They want the business to run a little bit without them. They wanna take [00:19:33] maybe some longer vacations. Maybe they wanna dip their toe in [00:19:36] investing in some other kinds of business or Right. Maybe they want, they [00:19:39] wanna focus on a hobby a little bit more. I always said that as soon as [00:19:42] I’m done school, I’m gonna become a painter.

I just want a few hours per [00:19:45] week to just like toil with paint. Like that’s my goal. I thought [00:19:48] that’ll take me away from work much. But there’s lots of reason why people wanna [00:19:51] want pull back from their business for a while and so [00:19:54] you’re gonna have so many great conversations. Mm-hmm. With people in the group who are [00:19:57] in a similar place, which I’m excited about seeing.

That pans [00:20:00] out for you. Me too. Including people who already are taking like [00:20:03] months off to go away. Yeah. And we can reverse [00:20:06] engineer how they do it, which is amazing. Yeah, I think I could probably work from anywhere ’cause I’m [00:20:09] not coaching these days, but yeah, getting like Rob’s take [00:20:12] Rob with you. Yeah, that’s the challenge.

It would be good for our [00:20:15] marriage if I didn’t take it with you. [00:20:18] That’s amazing. Alright, well let’s wrap things up. Final [00:20:21] thoughts here. When it comes to joining a group like [00:20:24] this, if you had to say the number one thing you’ve gotten out of it so far, [00:20:27] what is it? Oh gosh. I think you can see it [00:20:30] in the numbers from when I started till now.

[00:20:33] Gosh, we’re making hundreds of thousands of dollars more in revenue. Yeah, [00:20:36] and And there’s no ceiling to it as long as I [00:20:39] keep putting in the work and applying the principles. Yeah, yeah. Good [00:20:42] for you. Good for you. That’s amazing. Thank you so much for coming back on the podcast [00:20:45] again and this time talking about you and sharing your story, because I [00:20:48] think your story is indicative a lot of our listeners on the podcast, so hopefully they [00:20:51] hear themselves in you.

So thank you for coming and being [00:20:54] open and transparent. I appreciate you. As always, miss Wendy. [00:20:57] I appreciate you. We’ll talk soon and listeners, I’ll hear, I’ll [00:21:00] see you on the next one. Have a great day. Bye [00:21:03] [00:21:06] [00:21:09] [00:21:12] [00:21:15] [00:21:18] [00:21:21] [00:21:24] bye.
