Do you wish that your employees read more?
Get them all in a room and deliver a presentation on the most important takeaways you pulled from the two books that you read in the past month.
Want them to attend more continuing education events?
Invite a colleague to join you for a seminar, and then grab a seat in the front row. Make sure they see you taking notes and asking thoughtful questions.
You can’t demand behaviors that you have no intention of modeling for the people you lead.
If you want change, you’ve got to be the example.
