Today is an exciting day, as I’m heading to Perform Better in Orlando. It’s one of my favorite events, and it feels so good to be back in person for the first time in two years.

Now, I know today’s subject line sounds dramatic AF, but stick with me here.
I mean that sincerely.
The only way you’ll ever have personal freedom in your training gym is by developing at least one other person on your team to have some leadership responsibility.
This role could be a General Manager, a Fitness Director, a Director of Operations, or any number of titles.
I like to call this position(s) your “Sous Chef”.
Ultimately, the buck will always stop with you. But this individual or set of individuals are able to hold down the fort when you’re out of town and take total ownership over certain parts of the business.
